I stayed at La Laguna Villas last year for almost 2 weeks. It was fantastic! The pool has steps to walk into it - perfect for children. Some rooms have kitchens (if you're on a budget and want to make breakfast and/or lunch in your room - even dinner). The food there is fantastic although not as inexpensive as some other places.
The only negative is that there is no road leading out the back because there are mountains behind the whole beachfront/hotel area - you have to go to Sabang to get a trike. There is a walkway along the ocean though and it's nice at night.
