The large lake is navigated with a large number of boats while the smaller lakes can only be navigated by rowing boats. The lake is of great beauty with pavilions, pagodas, flowering trees, gardens of poets, etc. Your trip to Hangzhou won’t be complete without going here.

You can stroll along a stream and admire the Buddhas, which are over 330 to 1000 years old. Even the way to the temple is a historical highlight with preserved and destroyed Buddhas. Despite the many visitors, the temple itself is a resting place. Very impressive!

The basic content is a reproduction of historical features centered on Hangzhou, but especially the ‘Cheongojeong’, a dance show that has been performing since 1997, that is gaining worldwide fame. This place is a must-visit for a fun and memorable day!

There are also very good restaurants in the park. Furthermore, there are small villages in the park, where various souvenir shops and restaurants are located. If you have a mosquito repellent, don’t forget to bring it as there are a lot of mosquitoes in the park.

From the upper floors, you have a wonderful view of the lake and the city skyline, on the lower floors there are pictures and information about the construction of the pagoda with artistic pictures. Definitely worth a visit.
