15 Incredible Places You’ll Find in the Province of Laguna, Philippines
Laguna is a beautiful province located in the CALABARZON region in Luzon, Philippines. If you are coming from Manila, it will take you an hour and a half to reach the heart of the province (without the traffic). Because of the proximity, Laguna is known to be one of the best weekend getaway spots of people who would like to take a breather from the hustle and bustle of the metro.
If you must know, I am a proud ‘probinsyana’ from this amazing province. I grew up and studied in Laguna and back then, I didn’t realize that there were a lot of hidden gems in the province. I heard a few of it, but it was just recently that it made noise in the travel and tourism industry. As I did my research, I now know why it became one.
For those who want a list of what you can do in Laguna, I will share with you 15 incredible places you can find in the province.

2. Seven Lakes of San Pablo City
This is where I grew up! Now I am feeling nostalgic. But I’m not here to tell you about my childhood days. Instead, I’m going to brag one of the things that San Pablo City is known for – 7 Lakes.
You got that right, this city has 7 Lakes namely, Bunot, Kalibato, Yambo and Pandin (also known as twin lakes), Palakpakin, Muhikap and Sampaloc. According to other people, these actually crater lakes formed after a volcanic eruption.
There are different activities which you can do in each lake. You can jog around, ride your bike or eat local street food. However, if you want to camp overnight and swim, Yambo Lake is becoming a popular spot for it. You can even ask the locals to cook the meals for you. The best part about it is that it’s very affordable. I would recommend this if you are working on a tight budget.
