It’s annoying that we’re forced to change our plans. But “better safe than sorry” and “prevention is better than cure.” Young ones may have a great immune system, but think of the kids and the oldies we meet when we go home, they’re too fragile. So I hope we at least stay home, go Netflix and Chill, and always wash your hands!

Good morning sir my name SATINDER SINGH SANDHA my flight is cancelled 7 April 11 am Delhi to bubai after bubai to Lisbon I need new flight ticket
Has anyone received the refund yet?
Emirates denied us a refund. According to them their flight will arrive in Australia regardless of our laws which prevent Australians leaving the country. So much for their health and care claims. Essentially international travel will be unsafe until the vaccine is available. Shame on Emirates for risking peoples live just to keep your money
Hi, I request a refund last March 14, 2020, due to travel restrictions in Malta. When I can receive my refund? Also, how do I know the status of my request?
Hi we have flights booked from the Uk to bangkok leaving on the 11th April can we get a full refund for our flight tickets . The FCO is advising against all but essential international travel
hope you have better luck with them than me , i was due to fly to bangkok on 1st april, they sent me a voucher that i cannot use and refuse to give me a refund
I entered all numbers except the number after “-xx” and it worked.
Booked flights for 8 family members in October 2019, well before 30thMarch2020. We are due to travel Thursday 26th March return Sunday 5th April. I have tried to change the dates to October 2020, but even though fees are supposed to be waivered, when I put in my new details, Emirates payment includes lb100 per person fees. If I try to cancel Emirates have asked for lb200 per person. I have been through all the Emirates site numerous times, and the information is very contradicting from page to page. Trying to contact their call centres is impossible.
Has anyone received their refund yet and if so, how long did it take?
Submitted a request 8 days ago via the form above and received automatic confirmation emails but no idea if / when i can expect a refund.
It might take to 90 Days due to COVID-19.
I have a non-refundable ticket so I will just wait till my Flight is cancelled by them, because as I can see all flights from my destination were cancelled today.
Stay healthy!
Di the refunds come through automatically now they’ve cancelled the flights. Or do we still have to contact emirates for these ?
Hi!
I have been trying to fill the refund form for days now but to no avail.
Particularly the fee waiver part that request for ticket number but after putting in the correct the ticket number it keeps saying invalid ticket or document number.
My calls too are never put through and I don’t want to wait till the last 72hours not knowing if my calls will go through or not.
Please any advice on this?
try messaging the through twitter too, currently it really takes a long time for them to reply
Same here
Same problem here
Heii, just want to update that I tried to email emirates through the local branch email [email protected] (for Indonesia) and they just responded to my invalid ticket number problem in the refund form. I guess they just fixed it after I emailed them as when I tried to input it again the problem has been resolved and my refund form has successfully been submitted.

Hi, as mentioned by James, are the non-refundable ticket holders entitled to a full refund or just a refund for tax?
Besides, rebooking/rescheduling fee will be waived until 31st of March, but we are only allowed to reschedule to a date before 30th June?
Feeling a bit confused here
Yes, you can get a full refund or a travel voucher (the same amount as your ticket) due to the coronavirus. Fees are waived for those who have bookings on or before March 31, if ever you have April 1 bookings – you’ll be subject to a fee.
As for the reschedule, you can do it at any date as long as you rebook on or before June 30. (Mostly this is for the new tickets purchased until May 31)
Just an update on this, Emirates are now refusing to provide a full refund. They are only providing refunds of taxes, this is for “suspended” flights. Is there a difference between suspended and cancelled flights?
only tax is being refunded, unless your flight is officially cancelled.
Hi Jonathan and Lyza, how about vouchers? Will the voucher have the same value of the full price paid for the ticket, including fare and the taxes?
Cancellation fee waiver
176 (this number not moving from screen- i think Emirates has blocked online refund)
Invalid Ticket or Document number
Please enter the name of the passenger
Hello, have you changed it to the ticket number issued to you? It usually starts with “176” with a total of 13 characters.
Hi where do you find the ticket number that starts with 176 please – I have trawelled through everything and am yet to find it!
Hi. on the ticket issued to you look into the down right part and you’ll see the ticket number, you have to input those numbers that starts with 176xxxxxxxxxx (followed by 10numbers) after that on the next empty box you’ll require to put your full name again then click SUBMIT and they’ll give you a confirmation that your request has been submitted successfully then you’ll receive an email confirmation. That’s it.?

I am having the same problem. I have entered all the fields with the required information, however when I click on submit, all of a sudden the page does not seem to work! Why is this?

Hi, are non refundable ticket classes also covered by a full refund due to coronavirus? We are booked on flights to Sydney on 29 March but not much point going as we would need to self isolate for the entire time we were there!
everyone that’s impacted by the virus can get a refund or change their flights
I went to down to the emirates office and was informed that only tax is being refunded.
